Why did I choose bungalow maps over regular listings?

We've all heard the same thing before. What is the most important thing when it comes to buying real estate? Location. Location. Location!

That being one of the biggest reasons why we decided to move forward with bungalow maps instead of generic listings. A lot of people searching for bungalows are looking for bungalows in specific locations. 

With bungalows being such a unique piece of real estate in 2026 it's been getting more and more difficult to find where they are online. This website is all bungalows!

A lot of buyers start with the cities and towns they already know. If you live in Kitchener, you probably search in Kitchener. If you live in Burlington, you probably search in Burlington.

But the bungalow market expands beyond the big cities. Builders don't build many bungalows nowadays so when you start looking at locations just a little bit outside of the city, the options widen dramatically.

How to Use Our Bungalow Maps

At the top of our website we have two primary categories to search for bungalows. We have "Bungalows by Location" and "Bungalows by Type".

Bungalows by Location, you pick a location and you immediately get access to every single bungalow in that given city, town, or region. 

Bungalows by Type, you pick a type of bungalow like a three car garage, or a new build bungalow, and you immediately get access to every single bungalow that has a three car garage or is a new build.

We designed this to make general browsing extremely easy regardless of what you're looking for whether it's a specific type of bungalow or you want to be in a specific location.

As you search through your locations and types, you'll get to the bottom of the listings where you can see "All of the Matching Bungalows." If you click that button, you can start adding your own criteria at the top.

Let's say you're looking for a new build bungalow and you start seeing every location in Ontario but you want to be in Woodstock. Once you click on all of the new build bungalows, simply add the location at the top of the search bar and you'll get instant access to all of the new build bungalows in Woodstock.

What if I want a map of custom criteria?

This is one of my favourite features on BungalowBoss.ca, we can build you custom bungalow maps like the others, except it only hits your specific criteria and you'll see everything that matches with live 24/7 access to the market.
