Looking for a bungalow in Ajax? You won't have many to choose from. At the end of October 2026, only 15 bungalows were for sale in the whole town.
That's not a reason to give up. It's a reason to know exactly what's out there, so you can move quickly when the right one comes up. Here's a plain look at bungalows for sale in Ajax, Ontario: how many, where, what they cost and what's hard to find. No guesses about where prices are going.
The short version
- 15 bungalows are for sale in Ajax right now. The median asking price is $828,000.
- Another 4 already have a conditional offer on them.
- 9 sold from October 1 to 27, 2026. In the same weeks of 2025, 8 sold.
- The median bungalow sold for $695,000, compared with $700,000 in October 2025.
- The typical sale took about 19 days from listing to sold, close to the 17 days of last October.
With this few sales, one or two homes can move the median a lot, so treat these as a snapshot, not a trend.

Where Ajax's bungalows are
The MLS® system splits Ajax into communities. Here's where the 15 bungalows for sale are today:

South East has the most. 6 of the 15 are there, and all 4 of the bungalows that already have a conditional offer are in South East too. It's the busiest part of town for bungalows right now.
The north end barely has any. Northwest and Northeast Ajax have just one bungalow each for sale, and both are priced over $1.5 million.
What Ajax bungalows cost
Here's what's for sale by price as of October 27, 2026:
- Under $600,000: 3
- $600,000 to $799,999: 4
- $800,000 to $999,999: 3
- $1 million to $1,499,999: 2
- $1.5 million and up: 3
So just under half (7 of 15) are under $800,000. The top end is a big part of the list: 5 of the 15 are $1 million or more.
What sold this October looks different from what's for sale. The 9 that sold had a median price of $695,000, and most sold a little under asking (about 97% of list price at the median). 2 of the 9 sold over asking.
What you get for your money
- Style: All 15 are the classic one-floor bungalow. There are no raised bungalows or bungalofts for sale in Ajax right now.
- Building type: 14 are detached and 1 is semi-detached.
- Ownership: All 15 are freehold. There are no condominium bungalows for sale.
- Garage: 5 have room for two cars and 3 list three or more spaces. 2 have a single garage, and 5 list no garage at all.
- Bedrooms: Most (9) have three bedrooms on the main level. 4 have two, 1 has one and 1 has four. 7 of the 15 also list a bedroom or more in the basement.
- Age: Only 2 of the 15 give an age, so there isn't enough to say how old most of them are.
What's hard to find in Ajax right now
Choice. With 15 for sale, you may only see a handful that fit your price and your street. The Ajax Bungalow Map is the easiest way to keep an eye on new ones.
A condo bungalow. There are none. If you want someone else to handle the lawn and the snow, you may need to look beyond Ajax, or be ready when one comes up.
A double garage under $900,000. 8 bungalows have room for two or more cars, but only 3 of them are under $900,000.
Something affordable in the north end. The only two bungalows for sale in north Ajax are both over $1.5 million.
