Your Own Custom Bungalow Map: What It Is and How to Get One

You know what you want. Two bedrooms, maybe three. A second bathroom for when the kids visit. A price that leaves something in the bank. And a town you'd actually like to live in.

The hard part is finding the bungalows that fit all of that at once. That's what a custom bungalow map does.

What a custom bungalow map is

It's your own page on BungalowBoss.ca, with your first name on it: "<Your name>'s Bungalow Map."

We build it around four things:

  • Bedrooms (for example, 2 or more)
  • Bathrooms (for example, 2 or more)
  • Your price range (a low and a high number)
  • Your area (a town, a few towns, or a whole county)

Then it shows you only the bungalows for sale that match. No two-storeys, no scrolling past homes you'd never buy.

What's on your map

When you open your link, here's what you'll see:

  • A line at the top with your criteria, so you always know what the map is searching for.
  • A map with the matching bungalows pinned on it.
  • The newest listings first. Something that came up this morning sits at the top.
  • About 20 homes on the page, and a "See all" button that opens every match.
  • Marcus's phone number and email, in case you want to ask about a home or book a showing.

The map includes every kind of bungalow: regular bungalows, raised bungalows, bungalofts, hillside bungalows and split-entry bungalows. Listings describe bungalows in different ways, and we don't want you to miss one because of a label.

And it updates live as new bungalows list. You don't have to ask again or wait for an email. Open the link any time and you're looking at today's market.

How it's different from our area maps

BungalowBoss.ca already has more than 400 bungalow map pages you can browse right now, by area and by type (BungalowBoss.ca page count, October 27, 2026). For example:

Those are great for getting a feel for an area. (Our post on how to use our bungalow maps walks through them.)

A custom map goes one step further. It puts your beds, baths, budget and towns together on one page, so you're not checking five maps and doing the filtering in your head.

How to ask for one

Go to The Ultimate Bungalow Map page and scroll down to "Build Your Own Custom Bungalow Map." Fill in your name, phone and email.

It helps to have these ready, because they're what your map is built on:

  1. How many bedrooms and bathrooms you need
  2. Your price range, low and high
  3. The towns or areas you'd consider (more than one is fine)
  4. Anything else on your wish list

If you'd rather talk it through, call Marcus at (226) 907-4448.

A few honest tips for reading your map

Some wishes can't be a filter. Things like "backs onto a ravine," "no sidewalk" or "newer build" aren't something every listing records the same way. If you tell us about them, we can note them on your page, but we keep the search itself wide so a good home isn't hidden. Glance at the photos for those.

We don't filter by year built. Many listings leave the year built blank. Filtering on it would hide real bungalows that fit you.

You may see the same home twice. Some homes are listed on two real estate boards at once, so they can show up twice. It's the same house.

Wider is usually better. If your map looks thin, try adding a nearby town or nudging your price range. A town ten minutes away often has more bungalows than you'd expect.

What happens next

Once your map is built, we send you the link. Save it, bookmark it, open it whenever you like. It keeps updating on its own.

When a home catches your eye, call Marcus at the number on your page. And if you're selling a house to buy your bungalow, it helps to know your numbers before you fall in love with a listing.
